Hi! I'm so glad to hear back from you! Girl, I'm new to making layouts myself! Idk how to make images look "that" crisp on my own but I'm 'dabbling' in some things to try to achieve the look. But layout with GIF images? Well, I would think maybe if the images were black and white, but color images probably need to be in PNG format or they just look ...weird.

The link you gave me sent me to photobucket but not to your page there. It kept telling me 404 Not Found. Idk why because the links worked before. o.O

You said there was something "red" in my mouth but you cannot "see" my mouth because I don't have any profile picture up. Maybe you were looking at someone else's page. ha ha:] I have a red heart inside a circle as my picture. Maybe you saw that?

As for trying to follow Gabby's layouts, your best bet would be to just Christy what she's looking for right now in layout styles. I mean, if you make a Cyrus layout but she doesn't LIKE Cyrus, it will get rejected.

And me personally, no offense, but how many Cyrus layouts have you seen recently on CB? Here's a hint: They're going to reject it. Ha ha.If you don't believe that, submit it:DD

You're too funny, girl ^_^.

Okay I just saw it! I think your site looks really good! I like it a lot! You "do" have a lot of material up there. That's good:DD Congratulations!

I still feel that your graphics look much better than mine and mine would probably bring your website "down" but I do have about 5 or 6 new layouts that I've never submitted before. I plan on submitting them to Whateverlife.com in 1.0 and then to Iconator in version 2.0.

But I feel like you are more interested in my being a co-owner of this than making graphics or layouts. Am I right? That's what you are the most interested in? Hit me back and be honest. ha ha.

P.S. I can tell you what I know about the 1.0 DIV but I don't know anything else. Also, I suggest tutorials like the link I posted the other day. Those look very professional and you can change some things to give it your own style. They provide you with materials to make them.

Also, WHO is your "target" audience for this business? Young girls, teens, adults? Who? I'm just curious. If it's for younger girls, they like a lot of "collage", bulletin board, and Polaroid stuff, lots of bright colors, and and animations, ect. That's just an example. Personally, I think my stlye might be suited more towards younger teens but who knows? ha ha.

Hey, I am very flattered that you would even consider me for that. But the part about "pay"...I just meant like if you gave some small money with your internship to students. A few dollars per hour or "something" ( something is better than nothing), it would attract better talent. But you could still get talent without paying anything...but it's a little harder.

When I had my business I put some ads on Craigslist.org and offered no pay for someone to try out my lipsticks I made. No one responded. When I changed the ad and offered just some small money, I got responses. This happened a few times.

That's all I meant. ha ha. Hey, I am not an HTML master at all. All I know is 1.0 DIV overlay. I'm in the process of learning website templates. But see, another thing (in my opinion) is that you should have gotten your materials together BEFORE you started the site, so you have something to put up there.

If people come a few times and still see nothing up there, they move on and stop checking.

Do you have your site up yet? Wait, oh I see the link up here in orange.

Hey girl, I am happy that you would offer such a thing but I honestly cannot be a co-owner of your site. I just came out of my own business: I had my own cosmetics line And I still have the Italian Vogue site that needs my attention. I have about 16,000 people on my Vogue Italia site alone. I want to make the site have an official connection to the real magazine, so this needs my time. Plus I have really thought of starting my own site again.

So you see, I wouldn't be good to co-own your site. I think "you" should be the sole owner of the site. If you bring other people into this as co-owner it could mean trouble for you later on.

I did that with my business and it was a big mistake.

I don't have very many graphics but you are welcomed to take any that you like for Little Rock Creations.

I have some layouts but Idk what style you are looking for. Show me something on CB that you like in layout style maybe? So at least I can see the style?

I know this comment is LONG but I must write this: If you "really" need materials and your business is real and "registered" as such then you can register the business with some colleges or one college and offer an "internship" to young graphic design/web design students in exchange for college credit. You can also offer a little money if you can- some pocket change. Most internships don't offer any money at all so this might make it more interesting. It's called a "stipend", you know, like $5 per hour, less than the smallest wages.

You can get young talent to help you and it adds to their own portfolios. You know?

Again, I'm sorry this is long but I had to explain. xoxo Hit me back:D

Yeah, sure! That sounds great! I understand that this is "your" site. You run the show. But what kind of help do you mean? Like some graphics or...what kinds of things? And thank you very much for asking! I am very flattered! Your work is much better than mine. ha ha ha:DD

Yes I understand what you mean about Facebook but I don't think they are really going to allow any of that on facebook. You know, layouts like Myspace used to have. Idk. I am saying what I have heard other people say- that FB likes the plain blue and white style and whatever. Ha ha:]

One of my icons was voted "Icon Of The Day" on Iconator yesterday:] It's not a big deal but it made me feel good anyway:D Here is the page but my icon is the Black Edward & Jacob kissing, here:
http://www.iconator.com /iconsoftheday.php

Ha ha:} Pretty funny, huh?

Oh I understand. You feel that you have something to prove..to yourself. I can understand. Really, I can. But ha ha, it's going to be even "harder" to get approved I think since Christy is the one doing this and you said you told her some negative things. And also, I read the requirements and people here have to make wallpapers, banners, or layouts. They said icons don't count towards getting on staff. :[

But you do what you want. As long as you are happy:DD xoxo

Oh you turned this in already to CB? And it was rejected? I'm looking at tutorials like this one :
http://huedesigner.wordpres s.com/2010/03/17/70-tutorials- using-photoshop-to-design-a-we bsite

to create a really professional looking layout to use on a website or Myspace but I will not submit it here because no matter what, it will be rejected. ha ha:D I come here now to check my comments but I'm not submitting graphics/layouts,ect.

Posted by Butterface89 on Oct 12, 10 9:28 am · History

Oooh! I LOVE this! I love it! It's beautiful!!! I'm not just saying that; I really love these colors! I think you should turn this in! But...don't let this site discourage you. Go to Whateverlife.com and open an account and submit your layout because your layout is very good. They won't reject it. But oh, this is a CB layout. I only know how to code for Myspace 1.0 (DIV)for the moment. If you show me/tell me where you want stuff I can code it for you and it will be "your" layout. I need practice coding anyway since CB keeps rejecting all my layouts. I don't really want to submit anymore here no matter what now. ha ha:D
